Can you feel it? The slightly cooler temps, the additions of all things apple and pumpkin and the color of leaves on the trees starting to turn hues of red, gold and orange. It is Fall. It is probably our favorite time of year.

Fall is an ideal time to make a visit to St. Joseph, Missouri. Located on Interstate 29, about two hours south of Omaha and about 30 minutes north of Kansas City, St. Joe is home to some amazing and unusual museums. Fall Color

One of the things that gets us to a locale during Fall is the beautiful colors on the trees. St. Joseph offers a great opportunity to take in this wonder of nature. Take a walk along the Missouri River after stopping in to the Remington Nature Center.

The Glore Psychiatric Museum is known as one of the most unusual museums of the United States, as it tells the history of the treatment of mental illness used in the United States. It is rumored that the museum may be haunted by souls of people once treated at the original facility.
