Football is back! Preseason camps open

Tis the season football fans look forward to – the start of preseason training camp. National Football League teams start reporting to camp this weekend and everyone will be in camp by the end of next week. The regular season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 7th.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibition game is scheduled for Thursday, August 3rd, at 7 p.m., matching the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals. The game kicks off the start of the Hall of Fame induction weekend.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2017 includes Kurt Warner, Terrell Davis, Kenny Easley, LaDainian Tomlinson, Morten Andersen and Dallas owner Jerry Jones. They will be officially enshrined Saturday, August 6th. Their busts will join the others in the Hall of Fame.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Hall of Busts is an amazing spot to visit. the faces of the greatest players, coaches and owners in football history line the walls.

Can’t make it to Canton, Ohio, for the festivities? Check out your favorite team’s preseason camp. We attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ camp last season and will venture north to Mankato, Minnesota, in early August for the Vikings’ summer camp.
