January Midwest Travel Twitter Chat featuring Clear Lake, IA
Our very first Midwest Travel Twitter Chat was last January and featured Clear Lake, IA. Our partner and co-host of the Midwest Travel Chat, Travel with Sara, lives right outside of Clear Lake and was very familiar with the area. Tim and I however, had only been there passing thru on our way to Minneapolis. After that first Twitter chat talking about all the exciting things that Clear Lake has to offer, I knew that Tim and I had to get there. So, over Memorial Day weekend 2015, we headed up there and I fell in love with the area.
Clear Lake, IA has that resort feel combined with a small town atmosphere. Even though it’s top draw is the lake itself, Clear Lake has events all year round.
