September Midwest Travel Twitter Chat – featuring Albert Lea, Minnesota
Disclaimer: Thanks to Albert Lea tourism, Albert Lea Downtown Association and Freeborn County, Minnesota, for sponsoring this post and the September Midwest Travel Twitter Chat. All opinions and views are ours.
Located just north of the state border with Iowa, Albert Lea is the first city you’ll encounter on I-35 in Minnesota. Known as the Land between the Lakes, Albert Lea is bustling with things to do, both on land and on the lakes. Beyond fishing and personal boating, you can also enjoy checking out pelicans on the Pelican Breeze II and view waterski shows on their gorgeous lakes. During the summer months you can also relax with Wind Down Wednesdays, which is an entire community affair. Don’t forget that Eddie Cochran Days celebrate the famous musician, and the local theater boasts a famous name from “Happy Days” – Marion Ross.
We’ve just touched a few items here and have so much more to share about what you can experience. Make sure to mark your calendars to join us.
