We are always thinking about where we are going next…next week, next month, next year.
If you’ve followed us for awhile, you know that when we’ve traveled lately, it’s mostly been within a day’s drive. We’ve been to some great places, such as Minneapolis, Montana, the Badlands of both North and South Dakota. They’re fairly easy to plan for visits and get advice on what to do or where to eat. Figuring out where to go, stay and eat are not always easy questions to answer, if many of the people you know have never been to where you are looking to go. Sure, you can consult Trip Advisor and Google to death, but wouldn’t you love to have an expert talk you through the options? The new Travel Design Lounge in Omaha can provide you with that, and much more.
From the moment you walk up to the retail space you’re already transported to an “escape” frame of mind. Even the doors and windows get you thinking about that next getaway.
Walk inside and there is a very inviting open and modern space.
If a great space with comfortable chairs and enticing pictures of faraway places wasn’t enough, check out the bar. Indulge in tastes that will take your palette to the vineyards of France to a cup o’ Joe that bring your senses to the mountains of Colombia. Travel Design Lounge wants to change the way you think about a travel agency.
They have a wine, beer, and cocktail bar alongside appetizers on a rotating menu. The idea is to transport you through your senses and give you a taste of that destination. Looking to go to Hawaii? Grab yourself a drink with a pineapple in it and sit down and talk to a travel counselor who has been there 50 times at the Travel Design Lounge.
Don’t have a trip in mind yet? That’s ok too. The staff at Travel Design Lounge has the tools at its disposal to give you some ideas based on your interests.
One of the things that Travel Design Lounge will specialize in is booking group travel. Come bring your friends and book your trip together. They even have an app that can help your group vote on options, such as dinner or shows, prior to the trip. Or if you don’t want to fuss over who owes who what, the app will keep track for you.
Travel Design Lounge is owned and operated by Travel and Transport and therefore brings their full boat of network resources to be able to design your dream trip experience. Their slogan is “Your Design, Your Experience.” Not only will they help plan your trip, but also become your lifeline during any unforeseen emergencies.
We have a bucket list of places we want to go outside of our day’s drive. We would love to travel to several countries in Europe or perhaps tour the continent via a scenic river cruise. Just the other day we were talking about visiting the historic Mayan ruins in Mexico. I’m planning on bringing Tim in sometime soon to talk about one of these trips.
Got wanderlust yet? Stop in to the Travel Design Lounge soon.
Travel Design Lounge is located at Shoppes of Legacy at 16950 Wright Plaza, Suite 151. You can drop in or make an appointment on their site at Travel Design Lounge.
