With the 2012 Nebraska Cornhusker football season kicking off Saturday, I am going to show my support with a Husker pic of the day this week. Kicking off the week is the statue standing in front of the Tom Osborne Athletic Building on campus. Coach Tom Osborne with the beloved Brook Berringer. Berringer, who played during the 1994-95 national championship seasons, was lost at too young an age in a private plane crash the night before the NFL draft. He was projected to play in the National Football League.
