North Platte’s America’s Best Value Inn offers comfy stay

North Platte America's Best Value Inn

It’s been awhile since I’ve stayed in a motel. But, during our recent trip to North Platte, we stayed at the America’s Best Value Inn.

The inn is centrally located, just a couple blocks off the main street. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the farthest attraction – Buffalo Bill Ranch state park.

The motel was clean and service was great. We arrived late in the evening after a long day touring northwest Nebraska. The motel manager was very good about checking on us arriving that night, as the inn was full.

Our room was on the second floor. We made one trip up the stairs with our luggage and dinner. I was tired and didn’t want to make multiple trips.

The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was set a little warm, but it was easy to adjust and cooled us off quickly.

The room had a small refrigerator and microwave, which would come in handy if a person was staying there for a few days.

We had a view of the outdoor swimming pool from our room. It looked nice and inviting after a long day.

Coffee is available in the lobby. Each room also has a coffee maker.

I would be tempted to stay at the motel again on a future trip. It’s accessible, clean and the service is friendly.
