Any season is Omaha Steaks season
We have been longtime fans of Omaha Steaks. I worked for them during a couple of holiday seasons taking customer orders over the phone. They called not only for their own orders, but to order steaks as gifts. We’ve also ordered Omaha Steaks as gifts. They’ll even ship to Alaska, where we have friends. We have also used their meals for quick and easy options before or returning from trips.
We were selected to be one of five bloggers to host an exclusive in-store event at a local Omaha Steaks store. This event was open to the bloggers and their followers, who registered in advance. At the event they were treated to storewide discounts, doorbuster specials, delectable samples and product prizes every 15 minutes.
Omaha Steaks staff welcomed everyone as they entered and were drawn in by some of the smells and tastes. If I wasn’t busy trying to chat with everyone on what their favorite item was or taking food pictures to include for this post, there may not have been any food left for anyone else. There were at least five different stations introducing some of their newest items.
Some attendees were not aware that there were stores available to choose and pick up products, instead of having them delivered to their home. They have stores in 27 states. So, there is a good chance that there is one near you. The staff is super friendly and helpful to find what you need for that next meal, gift and even provide some recipe ideas for your choices. With each purchase you are supplied with an Omaha Steaks cookbook that is a guide to cooking times and also has some recipes inside for a majority of their products.
The first item that I came upon was the Jumbo Cooked Shrimp. It was not just pretty to look at but paired with their own cocktail sauce, which my Uncle Bryan could not talk enough about, was very delicious.
The next item we tasted was the beef wellington appetizer. It is a fork tender piece of beef tenderloin wrapped in a puff pastry with a mushroom crown.
When we return from our next trip, I will be turning to Omaha Steaks newest lines of products: 1-Step Rapid Roast. The very flavorful 1-Step Rapid Roast Teriyaki Pork Tenderloins will make for a quick no-fuss dinner, paired with one of our favorite side items from Omaha Steaks, the potatoes au gratin. There would most likely be enough for leftovers for teriyaki pork tenderloin sandwiches.
My Aunt Vicki and Uncle Bryan told me that they enjoyed the experience and walked out with some great selections for their freezer.
As the holiday season gets underway, remember that steaks can make a great gift (just ask some of our friends and family). Omaha Steaks is our top choice for top-rated food and other products. Būsto Vizija Butų remontas ir vidaus apdailos darbai Vilniuje As I said earlier, we have been longtime fans of the steaks, so it’s easy for us to recommend Omaha Steaks. Enjoy the holiday season!
Disclaimer: We want to thank Omaha Steaks for allowing us to be one of the hosts for this event. In exchange for co-hosting this event, Omaha Steaks provided us with a selection of their great products to try at home. However, all opinions and views are ours.
