Sioux Falls Sheraton hotel provides wonderful stay
Our visit to the Sioux Falls Sheraton Hotel was the second time we stayed there. The first time was several years ago. During our recent visit to the city, we again had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton. Its appearance may have changed over the years, but the quality we expected remains the norm.
The hotel is connected to the Denny Sanford Premier Center, which is home to conventions and events, such as conventions and sports. The convention center offers more than 97,000 square feet of meeting space. The Sanford center opened about a year ago and has hosted concerts featuring Elton John and Shania Twain. Its home to the Sioux Falls junior hockey franchise.
The hotel has a contemporary appearance in the lobby area. The front desk uses a pod of check-in spots, as it helps manage lines.
The lobby is a beautiful area. The elevators have glass walls, so you can take in the view while you move up or down the floors.
A small waterfall is located at the bottom of the elevators, near the Water’s Edge Bar. The bar is located a few steps from the front desk. It offers an open environment.
The Falling Water Grille is home to a breakfast buffet or menu-ordered meals. The food is delicious and well-prepared.
The hotel has meeting space available for smaller groups. A Microsoft business center offers guests a chance to work independently or as a group.
As for our room, we couldn’t ask for better accommodations. We had a king-sized bed that was super comfortable to sleep in.
The work station was perfect! The desk had tons of space for my equipment. The outlets were abundant for our electronics. We liked the work area.
The room had Starbucks brand coffee. Who could ask for more? It’s nice to have some known brands to work with when traveling.
The Sheraton is centrally located. It’s a few steps from the events center. It’s a short walk or drive to Terrace Park, which is home to the Japanese Gardens. The Veterans Memorial Park is nearby. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to any attraction in town from the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Sioux Falls and Convention Center. We recommend the Sheraton when visiting Sioux Falls.
