Haunticon Omaha 2019 to explore the paranormal March 23
Are you a fan of the supernatural? Do you believe in ghosts and things that go bump in the night? Have you had encounters with the paranormal? If so, then Haunticon Omaha is for you. But, beware, the convention isn’t a play on the supernatural; it won’t be making fun at the beliefs of people. This is a legitimate meeting on like minds. Haunticon Omaha 2019 is an opportunity to learn more about the paranormal and places in the Midwest where you may want to check out possible interactions. The convention runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. March 23 at Sokol Auditorium.
To be honest, I’ve always been on the fence about contact with the afterlife or paranormal. But, that changed during a visit to Atchison, Kansas, last fall. In visiting two places – the infamous Sallie House and McInteer Villa – a group of writers I was traveling with believe we had encounters with the spirit world. At McInteer, I believe my eldest brother reached out to me. I also took a picture in an antique shop and a reflection of a face sticking his tongue out at me showed up when I reviewed pics at home. Another writer mentioned seeing orbs surrounding a house we took pics of.
