Omaha Culinary Tour & Magnolia Hotel Stay Giveaway
It’s obvious we love to travel. We are also big fans of our hometown of Omaha. One thing that we love about this city is that we are always finding new things to discover.
One prime example is the Magnolia Hotel Omaha. We go downtown often enough that you would have thought that I would have noticed this building before. I didn’t until a year ago when I went to go see a showing of “Stomp” at the Orpheum. We parked across the street from the Magnolia Hotel Omaha. The beauty of the outside of the building made me want to learn more about it. Tim and I soon arranged a tour of the hotel to get the whole story on this historic property. Then in December, we had the opportunity to stay overnight in one of their loft suites as part of a staycation.
The hotel is conveniently located – only a block from the Orpheum – and a few blocks from the Old Market area. There are other treasures in the downtown area that aren’t as well known, including Hollywood Candy. We highly recommend checking out the Mangelsen’s Images of Nature gallery.
It has been said that Omaha has the most restaurants per capita in the U.S. I tend to believe that’s true. We do have a plethora of restaurants to choose from.
